Handsworth nurse robbed pensioner in her care

There are few things worse than abusing an elderly person. Miss Worgs was a paid nurse who abused the trust and responsibility such a role entails. Not content with a good wage she could only dream about in Africa, she stole money from an elderly lady who was partially sighted!

The Birmingham mail shows no picture of the victim. That is usually a reliable indication that the lady was white. Her name is not even included which would probably make it obvious she wasn't Asian or Afro-Caribbean. Thankfuly Miss Worgs was jailed and is no longer a registered nurse.

No doubt she will be applying for citizenship in Australia, Canada, or America. You have heard how the health services in Western nations would 'collapse' without third world immigrants right?

A BIRMINGHAM nurse jailed for stealing hundreds of pounds from a frail elderly patient in her care has been banned for life from the profession.

Yolanda Worgs, of Laurel Road, Handsworth, stole £280 from a weak, partially blind female pensioner she was treating in a “massive breach of trust”.

A Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) disciplinary panel heard the 26-year-old took the cash from the pensioner’s home in Coventry after she treated her for a leg injury.

Worgs was jailed for eight months after pleading guilty to burglary and possession of cannabis at Coventry Crown Court on September 2, 2008. Read more
