Appeal Follows 'Racially Aggravated' Assault On Bus

When an Asian or a black person gets beat up by someone of another race it is classed as 'racially aggravated'.

If you are white however and attacked by an Asian or black group it is merely assault.
This is truly sick, it is like saying white people deserve to be attacked.

Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses after two men were attacked on a bus in Forest Gate. Police were called on 21 February 2010 at approximately 03:15hrs to reports of a racially aggravated assault on a route 25 bus travelling along Romford Road, E7.

Two men - aged 24 and 23 boarded the bus in Stratford, E15. Whilst walking through the bus, the movement of the vehicle caused them to knock into two men who responded by shouting racial abuse at the pair. A fight broke out, spilling onto the street near bus stop 493 - on Romford Rd, E7.

The suspects punched and kicked both victims, breaking Victim 1's nose and hitting Victim 2 on the head with an unknown item. They then fled the scene down Romford Road towards High Street North, E7. The two victims were taken to NGH for treatment. They have since been

One of the assailants is described as black, 20-30 years, with short black dreadlocks, and wearing a dark coloured coat and woolly hat. The other is described as black, 20-30 years, with short cropped hair, and wearing a red jacket and blue jeans.

If it assists the appeal both victims are Asian.

Investigating officer DC Derek Downes said: "This incident was an unprovoked act of violence on a crowded bus. I urge anyone who witnessed this attack, or has information that can assist the investigation, to contact us."
