Birmingham BNP gather signatures for the Bring our troops home petition

Birmingham BNP gathered some 150 signatures from residents during the morning.

Many leaflets were given out explaining the policies of The British National Party.

Voice of Freedom newspapers were also gladly received by residents.

The response was good with many people voicing their concerns about the pointless wars in Afghanistan.

Vote BNP, speak to friends and family, and volunteer to help out for a Councillor in Birmingham!

About Northfield

According to the 2001 Population Census there were 23,042 people resident in Northfield.
The area is 5.2 square KM in size, with a population density of 4,417 people per square KM , this compares with 3,649 people per square KM for Birmingham.
20.4% of people were aged under 16, 57.5% were aged between 16 and 59, while 22.1% were aged over 60. The average age was 39.4, compared with 36 years for Birmingham.
The minority ethnic population made up 4.9% (1,130) of the ward’s population, compared with 29.6% for Birmingham.
71.9% of households were owner occupied and 21.5% were rented from either the local authority, housing association or other registered social landlord. The remaining 6.7% of households rented privately or lived rent free.
The Census found that 11,164 (67.8%) of the population aged 16 to 74 were working or seeking work, this compared with 60.4% for Birmingham.
