dangerous woman murderer absconded during an escorted shopping trip

From Sky news

Patricia Gillette made off from West Wickham in Kent at approximately three o'clock on Friday afternoon and has not been seen since.

It is understood the 41 year old had been allowed to visit the shops under supervision from Bethlem Royal Hospital in nearby Beckenham.

DS Gary Gornell, of Bromley CID, said: "This individual is dangerous and we need to apprehend her as soon as possible.

"If anyone sees her, please don't approach her, but call police immediately."

Gillette, from Streatham, south London, was convicted of killing 38-year-old Mark Murphy in August 2006.

A judge at her trial the following July ordered that she be detained under a Hospital Order indefinitely.

Gillette is black, between 5'3" and 5'8" tall and of large build.

She has moles under both eyes, a scar on the left side of her neck and another scar on her left ear.

She wears her hair in a small ponytail on top of head.

When last seen she was wearing a red hooded coat, a blue jean shirt, black jogging bottoms and black shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Bromley CID on 020 8284 8754 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
