KETV7 Reports - Both Suspects Turn Themselves In After Brawl Breaks Out On City Bus
LINCOLN, Neb. -- Lincoln police said a bus brawl that was caught on tape all stemmed from a running argument over online postings.
Imani Collins, 20, turned herself into police. She was cited for assault, disturbing the peace, and child abuse. Authorities said Collins’ three-year-old daughter was on the bus at the time of the incident.
Marsha Lewis, 20, also turned herself in Friday for the incident. Lewis was cited for assault, child neglect and disturbing the peace by fighting.
Video of the incident, which appeared on the Lincoln Crime Stoppers website and was produced by the Lincoln Police Department, shows Collins and Lewis confronting a third woman on the bus. The dispute turns violent and punches are thrown.
At one point, the video shows two young girls of one of the assailants being trampled during the fracas. Read more
