Australian Open 2011: Kim Clijsters cruises into third round
Kim Clijsters continued to make untroubled progress at the Australian Open today, when she secured a place in the third round with victory over Carla Suárez Navarro.
The No3 seed from Belgium took 44 minutes to rout Dinara Safina 6-0, 6-0 in her first match and the early stages against Suárez Navarro were almost as one-sided. The Spaniard rallied but could not prevent Clijsters from easing to a 6-1, 6-3 win. "I was happy with the way I played.
