Builders told to tear down large extensions under council crackdown

Left: The back garden view from a Billesley residents sitting room. The lady who owns the house next door contacted South Birmingham BNP about the issue after her councillors had ignored the effrontery, and basically told her to 'live with it'(sic).

The elderly lady was at her 'wits end'. She had politely asked her Pakistani neighbours not to build the extension because it would block out her light, and totally ruin the view from her garden. She was told to 'fuck off', and warned in no uncertain terms, 'we will kill you if you don't shut up'!

The Birmingham Mail reports that the council is (finally) cracking down on people who build large extensions on their properties. This has been a problem in Birmingham for some time as some residents ignore the law, and have a totally selfish attitude in regards to their neighbours.

The Birmingham mail reports: Cases include; Nazia Parveen of Oxford Road, Moseley who had to remove a front canopy and was fined a total of £3,000 and ordered to pay £1,465 costs by Birmingham Magistrates.

An over large extension behind a house in Warwick Road, Acocks Green, had to be reduced after owner Maqsood Bi was found guilty of failing to comply with a building enforcement notice. She was also fined £500 and ordered to pay £500 costs.

A takeaway was shut down at 336 Witton Road, Aston because it did not have consent and Urban Village snooker hall at 580-582 Bristol Road was stopped from running a fun pub without permission.

While Isfaq Hussain was forced to reduce the size of a large outbuilding in the garden of Russell Road, in the Moseley conservation area, following complaints from neighbours. Read more
