Arthur Kemp speaks at South Brum meeting

South Birmingham BNP held a meeting and fundraiser on Thursday 11/02/2010. Newly appointed organiser Mark Yates opened proceedings and gave the crowd an update of the branches activities so far this year.

A good turn out with some new faces who gave an enthusiastic ovation, after listening to a stirring speech by BNP Forgien Affairs Spokesman Arthur Kemp.

Genetics, and the 'United Nations declaration of Indigenous peoples charter' were main themes.

Trevor Lyold (Bartley Green candidate) follwed with an interesting speech which put into perspective our technological 'lag' in Britain, compared with former times when patriotism and innovation went 'hand in hand'.

Bournville candidate Paul Oakley updated the audience on the sad decline of Cadburys and raised money for the election fund via a raffle.

South Birmingham BNP's Northfield parlimentary candiate, Les Orton, was also in attendence and will be joining myself as a contributer to this blog soon.

Friends from the Black Country and former organiser Mike Bell also attended, along with Bromsgrove candidate Liz Wainwright.

A grand total of £3000 pounds was raised for our election fund.
